Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cyber Threat Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber threats targeting our organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying vulnerabilities and a proactive approach to mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network activity to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct threat analysis, including malware analysis, phishing campaigns, and intrusion detection.
  • Perform research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
  • Develop and maintain threat intelligence databases and feeds.
  • Collaborate with the incident response team to contain and remediate threats.
  • Provide detailed reports on security incidents, including root cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest threat landscapes, tools, and security best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proficiency in threat analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, AlienVault, ThreatConnect).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, malware behaviors, and attack vectors.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with advanced persistent threat (APT) groups and tactics.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, etc.).
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
